Le 6 juillet 2024, le navire de charge MV Ultra Galaxy faisait route vers Dar es Salaam, en Tanzanie, lorsqu'il a commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 accuser une forte g\u00eete, amenant l'\u00e9quipage \u00e0 abandonner le navire au large de la c\u00f4te ouest de l'Afrique du Sud. Le 8 juillet, le navire avait compl\u00e8tement cess\u00e9 de transmettre sa position. La situation s'\u00e9tant aggrav\u00e9e, le navire a d\u00e9riv\u00e9 vers la terre en raison de conditions m\u00e9t\u00e9orologiques difficiles, pour finalement s'\u00e9chouer, pr\u00e9sentant un risque important de contamination environnementale. Comment OCIANA\u00a9<\/sup><\/sup> Peut surveiller les \u00e9v\u00e9nements menant \u00e0 l'accident<\/h2>

d\u2019OCIANA\u00a9<\/sup><\/sup><\/strong>, une puissante plateforme de suivi aliment\u00e9e par l'IA maritime, offre la possibilit\u00e9 de surveiller et d'analyser de pr\u00e8s la s\u00e9quence d'\u00e9v\u00e9nements qui a conduit \u00e0 la crise du MV Ultra Galaxy. Le voyage du navire a commenc\u00e9 le 13 juin lorsqu'il est parti de Malaga, en Espagne. Initialement \u00e0 destination de la Tanzanie, le MV Ultra Galaxy a chang\u00e9 de cap pour Walvis Bay, en Namibie, tout juste deux jours apr\u00e8s le d\u00e9but de son voyage \u2014 probablement en r\u00e9action \u00e0 un probl\u00e8me naissant \u00e0 bord. Le navire a jet\u00e9 l'ancre \u00e0 Walvis Bay le 2 juillet mais est parti le 4 juillet sans accoster. Le 6 juillet, peu apr\u00e8s son d\u00e9part, le navire a \u00e9mis un signal de d\u00e9tresse indiquant qu'il \u00e9tait \u201c non ma\u00eetre de sa gouverne \u201d, marquant le d\u00e9but d'une catastrophe environnementale maritime potentielle.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Alors que le MV Ultra Galaxy d\u00e9rivait vers les c\u00f4tes sud-africaines, la situation devenait de plus en plus critique.
